It is a sincere affection that binds us to this Palermo-based company founded by Giovanni Rizzuto Ferruzza.
Love is the "secret" ingredient of this company that continues to grow and invest in beauty, love for Sicily, for traditions, for young people, the love for their work that becomes tangible in each of their creations. The fabrics, carefully selected, come to life under the looms on which the colors of our artistic and natural heritage are skillfully spread and captured by hand.
The little fish darting across the tablecloths can also be found on the pouches or beach bags, the trees of the sun-drenched Sicilian countryside become tapestries to enrich a wall and curtains to flutter in the breeze. Artisan screen printing is their trademark, and collaboration with many island artists is their stylistic hallmark.

Kano Social Tailoring
Among the various artifacts that Kano creates, some are linked to Humanitarian Projects present both in Rwanda and Gambia. A part of the proceeds is used to finance"Anymore" educational, sports, and agricultural projects, for the benefit of the most vulnerable groups in these countries
The roots of this dynamic tailoring shop, born in a workshop in Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto, point south.
Faburama Ceesay, the craftsman and founder of Kano Sartoria Sociale, was born in Gambia and since childhood has cultivated a passion for tailoring, studying and working hard to become a tailor-stylist, with the help of his wife Marica.
With the collaboration of many artisans, he has built and continues to build a dense network, in which experience, professionalism, customs, traditions, languages, styles, and different materials converge, in order to design and create unique and original artifacts, using above all wax fabric, a type of fabric with bright colors and a waxed finish (sourced directly from some African countries in compliance with the ethical supply chain).
